Roberts International Airport (RIA) is Liberia's main airport. Several international airlines currently fly to Liberia with direct flights to and from the United States on Delta Airlines. Air France and SN Brussels provide direct access to Europe; Ethiopian Airlines and Royal Air Maroc to North Africa; and Kenya Airways, Air Nigeria, and Airik to the rest of the African sub-region. Connecting flights to Asia, the Middle East, and more can easily be made.
Visa and Immigration
A valid passport and a visa are required for entry into Liberia. To apply for a visa, please contact the Liberian Consulate Office closest to you. Yellow fever vaccinations are required before entry into the country. Please remember to bring your Yellow World Health Organization card along with your passport. For additional information about vaccines and medications recommended prior to visiting Liberia, please contact the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Foreigners may stay in Liberia in accordance with the scope of his/her visa status and period. All foreigners visiting Liberia for 91 days or more should register with the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization (BIN) within 90 days of his/her entry into the country.
